The song Old Glory-Symbol of America, performed by Jenae Bronson, debuts on this collection because of its resounding praise for our nation's revered flag. This never-before-released song is bound to become a classic like, America The Beautiful, Stars and Stripes Forever and This Is My Country. Before September 11, 2001, our flag was part of the landscape of America adorned on public buildings, waved at parades, holidays, and military events. Awareness was raised about our flag's heritage during the nation's bicentennial. Now, the events of terrorism and the ongoing perseverance to eliminate such threat have re-birthed a feeling that appeared to have been lost to a more innocent time. Old Glory-Symbol of America celebrates that innocence in the lyrics written by Virginia Bonham and Kathleen Smith of American Fork, UT during the nation's bicentennial. Now, our flag is high everywhere and it is important to nurture our nation to heal all wounds, bring the innocence far beyond the tragedy of September 11, 2001, and fully appreciate what it means to "bear the flag" of the United States. This recording of our nation's Funding Documents is about a living, vital document that is constantly referred to in the daily press, and not just a yellowing parchment preserved in the nation's capital. Members of the prestigious Hollywood Actor's Workshop professionally recorded it in the 1950's. Now you can more clearly understand the many great issues of the day made understandable in a lively presentation that shows the application. You will certainly realize the historical importance of this recording when you hear it, and are moved by its unique eloquence of its words which "ordain and establish" the American ideal and concept of freedom.

The Words of Patriotism was originally made in the hope that it will assist in developing understanding of our Constitution, and the liberties it secures for the individual; that by studying the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, listeners will appreciate more fully the awesome difficulties which face the Supreme Court in discharging its responsibilities of giving meaning to the documents in the light of modern problems. The interpretations in the recording are exclusively those of the Supreme Court and your living Bill of Rights, as they exist in our law today. Being the law of the land, the Constitution is basically a document of simple words, using only occasionally lawyer's technical terms as rare exceptions. Nevertheless, the true meaning of many of its passages is not easily grasped in even a careful reading of the text. Thus, the purpose of this special presentation was to achieve maximum clarity and understanding by using a lively combination of voices, sometimes in choral speaking arrangement, complete with sound effects to illustrate the issues.
The producers of AMP Pictures, Inc.. / Red Note Records believe that this digitally re-mastered recording fulfills one of the great needs of our time-for true understanding and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States, The Bill of Rights and The Declaration of Independence.
The archival live recordings in this collection have been digitally re-mastered from the original recording technology from the 1950's. Although much of the noise content of the original recordings has been removed, the producers have attempted to preserve the authentic, historical sound qualities which are in the style of live radio broadcasts before the era of television and digital technology.

The Music and Words of Patriotism is a loving dedication for the children who lost parents in the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington on September 11, 2001.
We pledge that Fifty per cent (50%) of net proceeds from the sale of this CD set will directly benefit those children, to provide for their long-term education as a contribution to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund T, a program of the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America, CSFA T. CSFA has pledged that, " 100 percent of all contributions to the Fund will go directly to provide for the education of financially needy dependents of those killed or permanently disabled as a result of the terrorist attacks and during the rescue activities relating to those attacks.
Specifically, the Fund will benefit dependents of the victims, including newborn children, airplane crew and passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, and relief workers, including fire fighters, emergency personnel and law enforcement personnel." Former President Bill Clinton and Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, who now serve as co-chairs of the campaign fund effort, endorsed the Fund.
